Getting Crabical.
The Chinese teach their young at an early age how to pick apart a crab. My reasoning is this:
1. It keeps them entertained.
2. It's a pain in the butt to have to do it for anyone else and not reap the reward.
I bought some crab the other day, four to be exact, and thought it would be a brilliant idea to pick them to make a crab salad of some sort.
After the first crab, I was already regretting it. Luckily, I'm Chinese (WTSM) and all complaining aside, I was able to finish with sea otter-like efficiency.
This is what I got:
Then I thought, it sucks to be a sea otter… don't they know you can just buy this stuff in a container in the grocery store??
Oh... right...

… enough to make about 1/2 of a decent crab cake.
