I LOVE Soccer.
Well, not really, but last week I found out I love going to soccer games! :)
Susie and J had extra front row tickets to a DC United game and the lure of overpriced stadium food and ridiculously good looking soccer players proved to be too much to turn down.
So, Lauren and I hit up RFK Stadium for the game. On the way up to the stadium, we noted the best looking... #13, Christ Pontius, and decided we'd cheer for him. Meh, sounded like a good strategy at the time, but turns out, we didn't see him on the field once. :/
Why soccer is so great: it is under-appreciated... so the crowds were not overwhelming, we got a good amount of swag (free T-Shirts silk screened on the spot!), and EVERYONE was good looking... the guy hawking volkswagons, the guy at the gift shop, the guys on the field... it was ridiculous.
