trying new thangs

most exciting thing to happen today:
(besides getting into my car after work and finding a can of coke that exploded)

I tried this freaky deaky dutch (well, more tropical than dutch) fruit for the first time.

To all of those out there with an uneducated palate, behold - Dragon Fruit.

I made a pretty disgusted face when I first saw it plop onto the plate, but it's not really that exotic. It just tastes like a really sweet, but toned down kiwi. It was actually pretty phenom.

Try it next time you happen upon what looks like a pretty pink spiky ball of death.

I think you might even like it more than kiwi.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say... Dragon Fruit is the new kiwi (gasp!).
