My (short-lived) Love Affair With Baltimore

So, the plan was... go to Baltimore... See T.I. and "Friends," which Clare and I found out to be Rick Ross, Lil Boosie and Trina. Okay, excellent. What happened: we went shopping in Baltimore, had a lovely meal at an Irish place at the Inner Harbor (which was all excellent), then BAM. We have our experience ruined at the concert... but before I delve into aggressive ranting, some photos of our enjoyable half of the trip:

I was looking kinda rough - Baltimore was lovely, but it was still a gazillion degrees out... and we were T.I. ready (meaning we looked pretty inappropriate for a Friday afternoon on the Harbor).

So, on with the story. We get to the show at about 7:30, some lame DJs from a local radio station were MCing and did an awful job. They might have done the East Side/West Side shouting match about 15,000 times. Then a bunch of no-name rappers came on from Baltimore and Brooklyn (they wasted their time and money travelling) and now I realize why I'm not into Underground rap... because it's UNDERGROUND for a reason. It sucks. So about two hours later, the crowd starts getting rude because noone's come on yet that we know. The douchebag dj made some fake promise about G-Unit, which ended up being some no-name guy from the Bronx. Wow. So Clare and I got up and walked around, and found out that TI and his real friends hadn't even arrived yet. We were livid. Finally, Trina preformed, asked where her "independent ladies" were about 15,000 times... then we had to listen to some more awful rappers they picked off the street... and at 11 (FOUR hours into the concert) lil Boosie finally arrived... and performed for fifteen whole minutes. Wow, you shouldn't have. Then they threw some other no-name back on instead of just going through Jim Jones and T.I. So we left. And now T.I. and I are not friends anymore.

Trina (I have no idea how she didn't end up flashing everyone with a dress that short - I take it back, with a SHIRT on as a dress)

Lil Boosie = Lame and a TOOL. (Also the Gangsters in front of us were HUGE and not to be messed with)

Passing by Camden Yards on the way home

Peace Out B-More, until next time
