Field Trip!

The Shepherd (and now Hartsfield) clan scooped me up for a field trip to the district! We went to Himalayan Heritage, an awesome restaurant in Adams Morgan that serves traditional Nepalese and Indian food. SO GOOD.

We started off with MOMO, this awesome steamed dumpling with an out of this world chutney. Chutney all day EVERY DAY. I couldn't get enough of this stuff!

Garlic Naan. The BEST. We got two orders of it.

Momma Shep and I went for the traditional Indian fare - butter chicken and tikka masala.

And Sheppy and Jay went Nepalese. 

Everything was awesome! If you're ever in the area, definitely check this place out!

And you know, since we were in the area... we had to make a pitstop for some dessert.

Some of us were more enthusiastic than others.

... Or maybe his face just always looks like that in pictures...?

Great way to end a day with some great people!
