I mean...
Is there anything in the world better than bacon candy?

How did we do it? Jules and I got our hands on six pounds of gorgeous Thick Sliced, Hickory Smoked Bacon and decided to go AWOL on EWLW for an afternoon...
We topped the bacon with brown sugar, baked it to crispy perfection, dipped it in chocolate, then hit it with a little fleur del sel.
Oh, how badly I wish you could taste this for yourself... the creamy chocolate over the crispy bacon and the crunch from caramelized brown sugar and the salt that sneaks up on you... it's just... I can't even talk about it anymore.
I may forget the moon bounce, the laser light snow, the albino elephants, the strawberry rhubarb pie, the sea of peonies, the groom, and/or any number of other things for my wedding... but know this, I shall have bacon candy.
