The Misadventures of Joj.

And what kind of adventure would we be on if something didn't go awry?

1) I ended up locking myself in the bathroom at one point.  The boys were watching a movie and didn't believe me.  Then they realized watching me being locked in the bathroom would be more amusing, so they diverted their attention to my squealing and suffering.  A friendly neighbor named Gene ended up saving the day. <3  In retrospect, I suppose it was kind of funny.

We ended up taking the door of the hinges and I was free once again to wreak havoc on Madison!!! MUAH HA HA HAAA!

2) I got trapped at O'Hare International Airport for an entire day trying to come home… luckily, I was able to hop on the very last flight to Dulles of the day… phew.  And it was during my 10 hour-ish stay at the airport that I had my first (terribly airport-priced) salad in weeks.  Small miracles.

3) I didn't bring a phone charger, because everyone in the world has an iPhone (this made perfect sense to me when I was packing for the trip), so I ended up being one of those unfortunate fools that sprung the $40 for a dinky phone charger from some sketch kiosk around Gate B7.  Fine.  Take my $40, just GIVE ME MY WORDS WITH FRIENDS.

Speaking of, a special thank you to everyone who gave me a turn on Words With Friends, texted me, called me, emailed, or gave me a reason to stare at you for being strange/particularly good looking while I was waiting at the airport… as it turns out, I don't particularly find myself to be good company.
