a glimpse into my wild social life...

I just realized, if you don't know me at all and judged me solely on this blog, it would seem like I am leading a pretty empty existence based on going out to eat and cruising the internet for 1) clothes and accessories, 2) random youtube videos, and 3) jobs - and then blogging about it all obsessively. I guess for those of you who do know me, all of the above is true, no secrets here.
Now that it's all out there, let's move on.

Last night, the FBL and I went out to the Melting Pot to celebrate Elizabeth's 22nd (!) birthday. We had a fab-o waiter, Adam who was hilarious and looked like Vin Diesel from the back (read: bald head, bad lighting), which turned out great for both parties involved - we got a fab experience and he got a fab tip.

A delicious Love Martini

The previous evening (or evening before) Joey and I met up for dinner and a movie! We hit up Macaroni Grill, where he got a martini and I consumed half of a Bellini (it was aight...) then we got seated in what seemed like the daycare section of the restaurant. A group of preteen girls in hooker shoes and trashy dresses from what I could only assume would be Charlotte Russe (not knocking it people, but you know what I mean).

what a tool.

As far as adventures outside of gastronomy go, my internship with Cathy Jane has come to an end :( but I am reconsidering an offer to go to Kate Spade. It sounds like a great opportunity, so I have a really tough decision to make. Elizabeth's going to Greece on Thursday for three months, so I suppose the FBL will try to hang out again before then. I'm jealous, I want to go to Greece. Plans for the rest of the day will include, laying around because it's rainy out and my motivation dies for anything other than reading or watching TV, going to tour some houses with the parentals (a secret hobby of mine), and then getting ready to go to dinner with the fam (I know, I know... even I'm sick of reading about going out to dinner again). Also, I would encourage you to check style.com for the latest on NY fashion week, some excellent stuff this year. I'll post my top ten soon. Until next time!
