Today's Loot!

I went to Target today. :|

I just had to go in and open the floodgates. Luckily, I kept it under relative control.

I BOUGHT NEW PILLOWS!

Long overdue. I forget how some simple changes can change everything...

Same pillowcases, just new, fluffy pillows.

I'm actually blogging from bed right now. And let me tell you, it feels like laying in the bed of an overpriced hotel room, only without the $200 bill. This. Is. My. JAM.

I will skimp on most things - I like store brands over national, never pay full price for make up, manicures, or oil changes, but I will not skimp on anything having to do with where I sleep at night. Mattress, pillows, bed sheets, all of it. Whatever it takes. 

This will have to do until I get my hands on my very own handmade Swedish Hastens bed. Oh gosh, I just watched the little video on their site and drooled a little bit. The mattresses range from $4,000 to $59,750. If I don't own one, I want to at least sleep on one. I'm sure that's where one of those overpriced hotel rooms with the $200+ bill comes in. :|

Oh and that little yellow journal that makes it look like I'm trying to be all Taylor Swift up in my bed? That's new too! I bought it today to write all of my favorite recipes in. I'm losing my mind trying to keep track of all the recipes I have scribbled down on scrap paper. I even found a recipe written on an old envelope I had from getting photos printed. Clearly old since it was from back in the day when people still got photos printed!

To accompany my spiffy new journal, I splurged on some phenom new pens! Sharpie Pens! WHAT?? They're awesome. They write like A DREAM.

Greatest. Ever.

Anyone who has ever eaten out with me knows, I straight up steal pens. Especially if they write well on receipt paper. Such a smooth surface to write on. I know, I'm so weird! I mean, but you can't put a pen in my hand and expect to get it back if it writes well. These pens WRITE WELL.

They don't bleed, they don't smell, they don't have a big tip. They're perfeeeeect!

If you're wondering why I'm up at 2:40 AM blogging about pens, it's because THESE PENS ARE A BIG DEAL. Go get some (cause you can't have mine)!!!
