Party in the Suburbs!

Today was one of those days where you loosely spend the entire day semi-making plans with about five different people, only to have the stars align and gift you with the perfect laid back Saturday night.

Meagan ended up getting out of work eight hours early (yeah, ridiculous) and called, so I told her to come over. We lounged around for a bit, then Lauren and Katie came over to join in on the festivities. In an attempt to distract from my still unfinished abode, we spent the evening chatting in the kitchen while baking and decorating cookies.

We cut out and decorated a bunch of teacup-shaped cookies (since I went a little crazy in the cookie cutter section earlier this week)...

Check out the ridiculous amount of icing on top of that cookie (she looks excited about it though).

I'm pretty sure hanging out in a cave would have been fun with these girls. The inclusion of icing happened to be an added bonus.
